IETLS Level 2 – This is a 10-week course is designed to prepare Upper Intermediate to Advanced level students for the IELTS Test (Academic & General Training). On completion of this course, students should be able to achieve 6- 6.5 in the IELTS bands for each skill tested.
The course integrates skills practice and language development in 20 x 1 hour lessons in each week of the course. The skills and language areas covered are:
Every week, students will receive practice and advise on how to deal with the different sections and parts in each of the four skills that are tested. Students will also become fully versed in all the different components of the tests. In Weeks 5 & 10, they will have the opportunity to experience a full IELTS Test under conditions. Furthermore, they will be encouraged to develop their knowledge and accurate usage of both simple and complex grammatical forms. They will also be pushed to expand their active vocabulary in common topic areas. This focus on grammar and vocabulary will greatly assist their performance in the Writing and Speaking tests.

Advanced Diploma of Business Schedule for the new Industry Focussed Programs (IFP). Students will undertake half the units in their course using a standard 1-day face to face attendance and 1 day online in addition to a self-study day. These are the OPERATIONAL STUDY BLOCKS in the Schedule. Once a student has completed all their Operational Study blocks they will start on their 6 months INDUSTRY APPLIED LEARNING BLOCKS.
These Blocks use a similar delivery style as Domestic Traineeships and Apprenticeships. Rather than using a simulated workplace and role play scenarios, student will undertake 20 hours per week paid or unpaid industry placement in a real workplace. They will still be required to complete their studies online for each unit and have at least one meeting per unit with their assigned trainer. This face to face meeting can be held at the college or in their workplace.
